A massive tropical storm hits the camps, leaving the men dry and the women wet. At Jaburu, Christy feels isolated from the rest of the group because of her disability and has a heated argument with Joanna.

EPISODE 3: MAKING A COMEBACK

The women of Jaburu are so disgusted with the state of their camp that they elect Deena as their leader, who instantly turns the tribe around. Meanwhile, the Tambaqui men can’t take their eyes off of the girls during a reward challenge.

EPISODE 4: TAMBAQUI STRIKES BACK

Shawna starts to fall apart at Jaburu. Matthew's fishing prowess proves to be a big turning point for Tambaqui as they set out to prove to the women that they are as good as them.

EPISODE 5: NO LONGER A GENDER WAR

Jeanne approaches Deena about an earlier conversation that took place among the other Jaburu women, Alex hurts himself at Tambaqui while chopping wood. Meanwhile, the youngest castaways get away for a night of relaxation, not realizing that they will change the face of the game.

EPISODE 6: HUNGRY FOR VICTORY

With the merge looming closer, every move counts for the castaways now. Christy becomes a hero for Tambaqui when she helps her tribe win the reward challenge, while at Jabaru, Deena becomes a little suspicious about Shawna's sudden "turnaround".

EPISODE 7: TO EACH THEIR OWN FIGHT

When Tambaqui and Jaburu merge to become Jacaré, all bets are off as everyone goes at each other. Heidi and Jenna strip for food at the immunity challenge, Christy makes a daring sacrifice, and Roger's plan to eliminate the girls firstis thwarted by Deena and her gang.

Rob finds himself on neutral ground when he must decide to either stay in his alliance with Heidi, Jenna and Alex, or side with Matthew, Butch and Christy. After winning a letter from home in an auction reward, Christy’s spirits are lifted, allowing her to carry on in the game.
